PTR 9mm 90 Degree Locking Piece
If you plan to run your K size MP5 suppressed, you should replace the locking piece with an 80-degree or 90-degree to prevent roller dents. The 90-degree will allow you to run both unsuppressed and suppressed. We've seen better reliability using the 90-degree compared to the 80-degree, but this is not universal as every host is different.
Manufactured from quality stainless steel, this locking piece is manufactured by PTR for PTR 9R, PTR 9CT, and other HK MP5 clones chambered in 9mm. The locking piece secures the bolt head to the carrier and allows for 90 degree travel of the bolt head.
Note: It is recommended that all PTR Industries parts be installed by a qualified and trained gunsmith.
